Solar Eclipses
We had a lovely hour with neighbours as the moon pulled it's little stunt. Just a fantastic thing to witness, particularly with me thinking ahead and buying some specs before the last minute rush began.
Miniatur Wunderland
I went there in October 2025 and it's amazing. They've just marked 25 years since opening, if you're ever in Hamburg make sure you book ahead and see it, one of those things you have to take in with your own eyes to appreciate the scale.

Really disappointing effort, they've decided to just trash the batting mechanic, which is a rather big deal for a Cricket game. Go play Cricket 22 instead.
Rugby League World Cup
Going behind a Premier Sport paywall is very bad news for the sport, meaning that as well as the awkward broadcasting hours (due to it being in Australia/New Zealand/Papua New Guinea), it's no longer getting any of the discoverability it had via the BBC. Another bad move in a sport that hasn't been short of them.
